Treprostinil Solution

Pronunciation: tre-PROST-i-nil
Generic Name: Treprostinil
Brand Name: Remodulin

Treprostinil Solution is used for:

Treating high blood pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs (pulmonary arterial hypertension). It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Treprostinil Solution is a prostaglandin. It works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing the supply of blood to the lungs in patients with high blood pressure in the lungs. This decreases how hard the heart must work to pump blood to the lungs.
